All of the following described services may be performed by a licensed attorney only. All services described below are for advice and assis-tance only.  Counsel's name will not  appear on any document handled under these terms, nor will Counsel appear in Court on Client's action without a separate, written agreement between Counsel and Client.  All charges are by the hour as noted below, and are broken down into “units”  (minimum tenths of an hour. six minutes equals one unit)

                                         FORM FILL SERVICE
$45 for the first form - per case
$25 per form all subsequent forms
$75 for a complaint or answer (minimum)

I can fill in the forms for you, insuring that only what the Court wants to see goes into your forms.

                                               LEGAL ADVICE
                                                     LEVEL 1
                                         TELEPHONIC ADVICE
$15 per unit ($150 per hour)

I can advise you on the telephone on selecting the forms you need or what motions or pleadings to use.  I can alert you to what the Court wants to see in them and advise you when to file, in what court to file, and how to serve opposing counsel and parties.  Typically this level of service contemplates  telephonic advice when you have a question.  I will insure compliance with all legal time limits and compliance with all Local Rules and Rules of Court.

You retain tight control over what you pay.

                                          SERVICE LEVEL II
                   LITIGATION ADVICE       LEGAL REPRESENTATION
$20 per unit ($200 per hour)

This applies to that stage of litigation after the Complaint is filed but before commencement of the trial phase and contemplates contested litigation more complex and protracted than anticipated in Phase 1 above.  At this level of service, Counsel will research and draft your pleadings, and he can make appearances for you if you so elect. Typically this involves discovery (interrogatories, inspection demand, requests for admission, depositions, or mo-tions to compel response to discovery), motions, including summary judgment motions, and various other court appearances.  Remember, your opposition will likely be experienced legal counsel.

Despite the advice that I or any experienced litigation attorney can give you, I strongly recommend you retain experienced counsel to represent you even at this stage of your litigation.

                                          SERVICE LEVEL III
                                             TRIAL ADVICE
$30 per unit ($300 per hour)

In this phase of litigation, Counsel will assist you in preparing for trial.  The trial phase starts 120 days before the first assigned trial date.  Counsel will advise you on CCP §998 settlement demands, evidence organization - wit-nesses, documents, medical records, subpoenas, retention of expert witnesses - deposition of expert witnesses, and motions in limine.  Additionally Counsel can help you develop your trial folder outlining the elements you will have to prove, and assist you in identifying trouble spots in your case and how to overcome them.  Be informed: this is intense work and very time consuming if done effectively.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU NOT REPRESENT YOURSELF AT TRIAL.  IT IS NOTHING LIKE YOU SEE ON TELEVISION; IT IS A MINE FIELD.
